The family tour
The family tour
On this tour we provide good and informative entertainment for young and old. With swords, shields and hobbyhorses, we take a tour of our city walls and look at how important defense was for cities in the Middle Ages. The numerous different wells and fountains also tell us a lot about the everyday life of people in the Middle Ages and how the water supply of the people worked at that time. The most important sights in our beautiful old town such as the market square, the town hall, the church of St. Jacob or the castle garden with its beautiful view of the lovely Tauber river valley we take with us in no time. As a starting point for the tour we recommend the fountain St. George at the market place. If you wish, we can also pick you up from your accommodation or a restaurant of your choice and start the tour for you from there. We would also be pleased to welcome you in historical costume.
